Not as sinister as it sounds, but Mike showed me the secret stuff today. And lo, it was good.
I'm not going to say what it is, suffice to say that those who take the trouble to help us with one of our market research methods will get a special kind of Phoenix thank-you. And it's worth it.
No real progress on the video front yesterday as an extended shift at work put paid to it. But there's still plenty of off-season left. So there.
Internet radio is another idea we're toying with, following the positive response we received to the 'Ice Manchester' broadcast we did from Ice Sheffield at the end of the season. The notion of live internet commentary from Phoenix games for the benefit of those who can't be there is a great one, but the downside would be the potential impact on attendances. Why go to the game when you can listen in on the radio? Simple really - you can keep up with the game on the radio but you don't get the thrill of being there live. But we do our best! Decisions on internet radio (and the hopeful return of "Landers And The Rev" as I call it) will probably be made later in the off-season...
