It's oh so quiet (part seventeen)

I think everyone's still in some form of shell-shock.

Certainly the news that Phoenix are mothballing for a season has kinda put the brakes on with regards to the activities of 'Landers And The Rev', as our main live outlet has been taken away for fifteen months. But it does mean we get fifteen months to hone the material, get the mix right, and sort out Mike's wardrobe.

It also means that the secret little video project that I was working on has been shelved indefinitely. I guess there's no harm in saying now that I was working on some draft-level ideas for a trailer for airing on NASN, one of Phoenix's sponsors. Ah well, the idea can be mothballed for a bit, and then dragged out and worked on some more when I get whistful for the 'good old days'.

So as I've said before, it is still business as usual, but at a muuuuuuch sloooooooower paaaaaaace.

Don't get the wrong impression - there are exciting times ahead, and I personally am looking forward to bringing 'Landers And The Rev' to Manchester Square Garden next season. The idea of playing in our own barn to our own fans at our chosen times is one heck of a prospect. But the idea of another season with no team of our own to cheer on.... sheesh.....

All I can guess is that when London play against the Steelers at the Hallam FM Arena, the Racers will have the biggest road support they've ever had!
