Well, we've had to take the Phoenix forum down as a precaution against a lovely computer virus doing the rounds, thanks to a security flaw in an update by the forum's hosts. Nothing to do with us, you understand, but it does mean that Carl's got his work cut out checking over the forum and restoring it to its former glory, ready for the next wave of postings from people wanting us to break the confidentiality agreements and give out all the details of the rink development...
Technology. You've got to love it.

"a security flaw in an update by the forum's hosts"
He means a security flaw in the software we use to run the forum. Unfortunately I didn't know about the flaw, and so hadn't updated the software soon enough.
The forum's hosts are my employers - ManchesterOnline - and in this case it has nothing to do with them!
You mean it's not hosted by phpBB2? My mistake!
Sorry ManchesterOnline (and Carl!)
