Today I returned from the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam, Holland, and I have learned a great many things. Alas, I'm too knackered right now to tell you about them, so until I'm suitably refreshed you'll have to make do with the following two snippets of information:
1. The Amsterdam public transport system is amazingly efficient, except when they're doing maintenance. In the event of maintenance work, you can't get anywhere in any kind of hurry.
2. The Dutch for 'whipped cream' is 'slagroom', apparently.
