You can tell things are cranking up. This week alone we've had a new player, a roster change, the new merchandise section with the new shirts and I'm not breaking any confidences to say tomorrow will have another press release and then somewhere in the near future we've got the fixtures, most likely a few more signings and updates on the rink building.
Plus some of the other stuff planned for the site is beginning to come on stream.
When it comes to doing things, the Phoenix has three separate deadlines which are, in order of urgency, "now", "straightaway" or "immediately".
I've spent the best part of two hours updating, coding, checking, questioning, emailing and all because, apparently, like Richard and Carl and everyone else, I'm in it for the glory...
Ach. Not time to open that can of worms. Onto happier things - new shirts look... well, I like the away one a lot. The white home one.. not so sure. Maybe our logo - the beloved Budgie - is a bit lost in the middle? However, as always, pictures don't really do the real thing justice - I have a sneaking suspicion that the home shirt will look really good in the flesh.
Time for bed. Looking at the diary, the next few days just Don't Stop. And I'm not even the busiest of us three, as Carl is getting married next week. I'd rather have my workload than his!
