Two more months

In the run-up to the last of the "Long Road Home" games before we move to our new rink, we learn that the new rink has been delayed once more. Ice Associates, the contractors building the Altrincham Ice Dome, have issued a press release to announce the new handover date of January 28th 2007.

What this means is that instead of looking forward to moving into our new home, we're now faced with around nine more games on the road. The hours of travelling, the setting up and putting away of kit. The stresses of a live match night in a strange environment. The shouting, yelling, hustle and bustle. The stress, the anger, the adrenaline, the nerves. The joy and the pain of two more months on the road.
