I was part of an interview panel today, so I have the following top tip for anyone who is going for a job.
If, after about three minutes, one of the interview panel turns his notepad over and writes "If we employ this guy, I give it six weeks before I stab him", then it isn't going well.

Oddly enough, I have one too, as we're recruiting at the Uni for new assistants:
If you're into recycling paper, make sure that the stuff you print your application on doesn't have one of your doodles of Frankenstein's Monster on the back of it...
