The Great Guru Samaru has posted a call for ideas on the front page of the official site, meaning that our fans can put forward any suggestions for interval games, stoppage music, merchandise and all things Phoenix for consideration for the forthcoming season.
I think this is a brilliant idea.
The fans are what makes a night at the Phoenix so special, so it's a great idea to see what the fans liked, what they hated, and what they want to see brought in for the new season. Not all the ideas that are put forward will be included, but they'll certainly give us food for though in the preparations for the new season (preparations which are already well underway!)
When we came up with the name Manchester Phoenix, it was a result of consultation with the fans. Since it worked so well for us then, we're opening the floodgates again!
Please note: suggestions such as "Landers And The Rev to be exiled to Sheffield" will be ignored.....
