That when the national football team has a more than decent chance of winning the World Cup for the first time in a generation, all the newspapers can do is undermine the team manager by entrapment? I mean, its not enough that no story exists (aprt from SHOCK HORROR! Rio Ferdinand is "lazy". STOP THE PRESS!) but the News of the World has to go out and invent one.
Don't forget that those same newspapers that will be screaming their patriotism from the rooftops in six months or so.
Sigh.
